Makes Great Coffee! 12/17/2014
I love this coffee maker. It is very easy to use. The gold basket is easy to clean and reuse. All you have to do is make sure there are coffee beans in the hopper on top, add water, and push the start button. It does the rest. I used to grind my own beans and then brew the coffee in a drip brewer. There were more steps and more clean up plus the flavor of the coffee didn't stand out like it does with this machine. I've had it for several months now with no issues. Recommended!
Excellent Product 4/26/2013
If you're a coffee connoisseur you will love this brewer. It makes the best coffee - even better than startbucks. Put in your 1/2 pound of coffee beans and you're good to go for many days. Love this coffee maker!

I got this product after I saw it being used at a good friend's house. He and his wife had this exact coffee maker for more than five years and they did not have any complaints. When I got mine, I read the instructions, big surprise on my part, and made a pot of great tasting coffee. If you buy this, plan on having some great coffee in the near future.

Great product, coffee is fresh, and perfectly brewed.
Initial Impression -Great 4/13/2012
Danny from Warren, NJ
Simple to set up; makes great coffee (if you use your favorite beans); easy to clean vis-a-vis Cuisinart's cheaper grind-and-brew models. Best feature -no need to wash and dry the grinder part between uses; just add beans if necessary, and re-seal the top. I personally like the glass beaker over the more-expensive thermos-type beaker.
Caveat: Only used for two weeks thus far; unknown longer-term reliability.
This item does not brew strong coffee 4/11/2012
D from Weatherford, OK
The coffeemaker has lots of bells and whistles, but it doesn't brew strong coffee. It might be due to the burr grinder's use of beans from the hopper or the lack of real control on the "strong" setting. This is not a great coffeemaker.
great coffee maker 2/27/2012
Many settings brews fairly quick and grinder is perfect
Great grind-n-brew, just missing grind control 2/17/2012

This is an almost perfect grand-and-brew coffeemaker. Just wish it had a grind control to allow coarser or finer grind of the beans. It's preset on a medium grind, which is fine in most cases but other burr grinder grind-and-brew coffee makers have this option. I previously had another Cuisinart grind-and-brew, one with the "blade" style grinder instead of the better burr grinder of this model. This one is much better, less cleaning and automatic measure of beans, and better coffee.
